By using Ember, you agree to these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use Ember.
2. What Ember Is
Ember is a personal growth app. It turns real-life actions into quests, XP, rituals, reflections, and character progression. Ember is designed to support motivation and reflection, not to replace professional help.
3. Not Professional Advice
Ember does not provide medical, mental health, legal, financial, fitness, religious, or professional advice. Any suggestions, quests, reflections, or AI Coach responses are for general support and self-reflection only.
If you have a medical, mental health, safety, or emergency concern, contact a qualified professional or local emergency service.
4. Your Account
You are responsible for keeping your email account secure and for not sharing login codes. You agree to provide accurate information and to use Ember only for lawful purposes.
5. Your Content
You may save reflections, notes, guild messages, and other content in Ember. You keep ownership of your content, but you give us permission to process it so Ember can provide the app features, cloud sync, support, safety, and AI features you choose to use.
6. Guilds And Community Behavior
Guilds are small private growth circles. You agree not to harass, threaten, shame, exploit, spam, or abuse other users. We may remove content, limit access, or suspend accounts that harm the safety or quality of Ember.
7. AI Features
AI responses may be incomplete, incorrect, or not appropriate for your situation. You are responsible for deciding whether to follow any suggestion. Do not use AI features to generate harmful, unsafe, illegal, or abusive content.
8. Subscriptions, Payments, And Ads
Ember may offer paid Premium features, subscriptions, free trials, or optional ads. Pricing, renewal, cancellation, and refund rules will be shown at purchase and may also be handled by Apple, Google, RevenueCat, or another payment provider.
If rewarded ads are available, rewards are only granted when the app confirms that the ad interaction was completed. Ad availability may vary by country, device, provider, or network conditions.
9. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use Ember for illegal, abusive, or harmful activity.
- Try to access another person's account or data.
- Interfere with the app, servers, security, or service providers.
- Copy, scrape, reverse engineer, or misuse Ember content or systems.
- Upload or share content that violates another person's rights.
10. Service Changes
Ember is still evolving. We may change, add, pause, or remove features at any time. We may also suspend or stop the service if needed for maintenance, safety, legal, or business reasons.
11. Termination
You may stop using Ember at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms or use Ember in a way that creates risk for the service or other users.

Ember is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not promise that Ember will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will produce any particular personal, health, financial, educational, spiritual, or career outcome.

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Ember and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, goodwill, or opportunities.

We may update these terms as Ember changes. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date and may provide additional notice.
